Sadly, I did not have any comments on my last elevator pitch so I could not get criticism from my classmates. However, I did not let this stop me! Since I am currently at home, I had my parents look over my last elevator pitch and give me some critiques. I also critiqued myself and noticed my last elevator pitch was pretty cringe-worthy. Here are the things I needed to work on:

1. I used my hands way too much.
2. I talked really fast and loud. I do this a lot in general, so I definitely knew I needed to work on that.
3. My hook wasn't very interesting.

In order to improve my elevator pitch, the first thing I did was improve my hook. I had a shorter hook that was more intriguing and straight to the point. Secondly, I spoke a lot calmer and at a more normal volume, and I tried my hardest to keep my hands out of the screen and only use them when necessary. Although this wasn't one of my critiques, the quality and lighting of my previous elevator pitch was extremely poor. Luckily since I am at home, I have a ring ling that I was able to use which I think drastically improved the look of my elevator pitch. Although I still do not think it's perfect, it is a huge improvement and is a lot less cringe-worthy.
